About Us

Established over 40 years ago, the clinic has been a cornerstone of the local community. With patients visiting from Greensborough, Briar Hill, Montmorency, St Helena, Research, Watsonia, Eltham, Viewbank, Plenty, Yallambie, South Morang, Mill Park, Bundoora and beyond. Michael and Dr Meeta became the new owners in 2021 and are committed to continuing to provide the high level of care as previous owners had.

After an unexpected extensive lockdown, they reopened the doors with patients eager to return. Dr Meeta and Michael have a strong commitment to providing gentle, compassionate and ethical care for their patients so that Sunrise Smiles can remain a place where generations of families can feel comfortable, knowing that they are in the best hands.

Principal Dentist / Co Owner

After qualifying from University of Liverpool with Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and then Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Dr Meeta worked in public and private sectors honing her clinical skills while broadening her experiences with a variety of patients from all backgrounds.

With over 12 years of experience in private practice across Melbourne, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and a gentle touch to every appointment.

Dr Ayesha

Sleep Dentist

Dr Ayesha is a dentist with a special interest in TMJ conditions, children’s sleep, adult and paediatric airway health, and early orthodontic intervention. She integrates dentistry, sleep medicine, and orofacial myotherapy to support optimal breathing, jaw development, and overall health in children.

Michael

Director / Co Owner

Michael brings a wealth of experience to his role as Practice Director. He spent many years managing high-end hotels across multiple countries for a renowned global chain, as well as overseeing large-scale corporate events and functions. Michael has successfully adapted his leadership, customer service, and operational skills to the dental industry.
